Yesterday we attempted to refuel at the famous rock of Gibraltar. This turned out to be easier said then done as the weather was bad and we were unable to refuel, therefore forcing us to miss a day in Morocco. We had already prepaid for 2 nights in Marrakech, Morocco so we were most likely going to lose one night without refund. Fortunately my roommates mom who is a travel agent and booked our hotel was able to get our nights moved to the final night we were there. Last night we also got to watch the Super Bowl in the Union but it was broadcasted in some language no one knows what it was, most likely Spanish, French or Arabic as thats the common languages in Morocco. At around 10 pm on Monday we finally got to Casablanca but were not allowed off at that time because we had not cleared customs and they did not want us exploring Morocco for the first time at night, rightfully so. That night there was an open mic night in the Union which was very entertaining as there are many talented people on the boat, but at the same time some people who thought it would be a good idea to get up and read poems which was very awkward for everyone in the audience. Tomorrow, Casablanca...
