140 days away!
Well here is my first post...preparing for what is going to be one of the best experience of my life. Been really busy with the first week of school and at the same point trying to get all the paperwork done for SAS before school gets too difficult. It sucks that at the College of Charleston you have to do everything on your own for studying abroad, but at the same point it makes it all that much more rewarding as it was when I studied abroad in Italy this past summer. You have to go around to all the department heads to get them to sign off on classes you are going to take on the ship, which can be like 3 or 4 department heads. Also at the same point I have had alot of trips to student health getting the vaccines I need for these 3rd world countries. I have had to get a Pnemonia vaccine, taking pills that are a Typhoid vaccine and then on Monday I get a Hepatitis A vaccine...plus when im on the ship I have to take Doxycycline to prevent Malaria in all the countries starting with India. Well I know no1 is going to read this for awhile but I am trynna document everything so I don't forget any step of this amazing experience!

Well I'm reading it! And I love that you want to document everything. I'm going to be a lifelong learner, older adult passenger, on SAS S09 and I'll also be keeping a blog. This will be my third voyage. I'd love to hear more about what you're thinking and feeling as you get ready for this amazing adventure. I'll send you a Facebook message as well. Hope we can be in touch.
